If you were getting drunk last, come to our church.
It is a simple principle. Our church welcomes all of God’s children and you are no exception.
Folk come up with excuses why their behaviour excludes them from joining in.
They worry that they will be judged by the perfect people who do go to church on a regular basis.
Church is a hospital for those who feel broken, lost, empty, confused, desperate, and rejected.
Everyone who has fallen short of God-given potential has a future, and everyone has a past. How do we gain forgiveness?
By prayer; prayer for you and prayer with you!
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; “Ephesians 1:7,
There isn’t a single person within the walls of the church who doesn’t have something they hate or regret about their past.
By recognizing our shortcomings, HIS forgiveness is assured.
Acts 2:38 says, “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
There are things that many of us would never want to admit out loud about ourselves, but God knows and loves us, in spite of and because of our imperfections and our vulnerabilities.
So whoever you are, whatever you’ve done, whatever you’re doing, whatever you will do, come to our church anyway.
It might just change your life!
